ITS Annual Report for the 2009-2010 Academic Year

As many of you know, the IT organization at Pace went through a major change during the 2009-2010 academic year. We renamed ourselves from being DoIT to ITS (Information Technology Services) to stress the importance of who we are – a Service organization. Yes, the name change is symbolic, but our staff have risen to the occasion and we have been able to transform the IT organization into a top notch service organization.

Annual reports are a way to reflect on the accomplishments of the entire organization and often tend to be a laundry list of everything that was accomplished by an organization. We have tried to stay away from that and have highlighted what we believe are the major accomplishments of the organization in the attached report. In keeping with the principles of being green and paperless, the annual report is available only electronically and in the blog format.

The blog provides a format for information exchange, so please don’t be shy. Let us know if we left out anything major that should have been mentioned, but more importantly, let us know where we could have done better last year and the years to come. We need to hear from our users to be able to improve our services.

We have organized our accomplishments into the three major themes for the organization last year:

In addition, we have provided some Statistics and Video Testimonials from our users. Please enjoy the report and these additional materials and provide us feedback.

Looking forward to yet another great year of accomplishments.
